Mowing

Your lawn needs to be mowed weekly at 2 to 2½ inches with a sharp blade for the lawn to be its healthiest. Mowing weekly allows only 1/3 of the leaf blade to be removed at one time allowing the roots to continue growing and the grass thriving. Taking off more than a third of the total height stunts the grass, giving it weaker roots and yellow tips. A sharp blade is a must to cut the grass cleanly, whereas a dull blade can tear the grass leaving brown tips.

At clean cut lawns we use only the best equipment and sharpen our blades every week to ensure the best possible cut.
